Case Details
This 59 year old female was planning on bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies for her left breast cancer. She also had a history of bilateral breast augmentation with silicone implants. Dr. Seth initially removed her old implants and performed a direct-to-implant breast reconstruction. Unfortunately she required radiation treatment for her cancer, which ultimately distorted her breast appearance and symmetry. After an additional breast revision surgery to correct for the radiation changes, Dr. Seth was able to achieve the breast reconstruction she was hoping for. Now at 1 year after surgery and radiation, she remains thrilled with her results! For breast reconstruction in Chicago and the North Shore, contact Dr. Seth today!
